National Trust – Great British Beer Collection

A product development project involving label design, packaging, photography and print.

THE PROJECT

We were asked to help develop a collection of traditional craft beers to celebrate the very best of British Brewing.

Our solution acknowledged the National Trust’s strong links with nature by proposing a ‘beer for each season’. This highlighted the classic British beer styles of Bitter, Golden Ale, Amber Ale and Stout, befitting the four seasons and creating a unique gift.

Working to a set of strict brand guidelines, our creative services included product development, labelling, packaging, photography and a variety of printed promotional materials.

THE CLIENT

The National Trust is a conservation charity dedicated to protecting historic and natural places. Founded in 1895, today, it is the largest heritage preservation society in Europe with over 4 million private members.

As enthusiastic supporters of small producers, in 2012, the Trust created a craft beer club to champion small brewers and their traditional brewing methods. In 2013, as part of their support, they sought to promote the very best of British Brewing through a celebratory set of classic ales.
